Des Moines Iowa "Register's political correspondent  Jennifer Jacobs got in as much snark as she possibly could without her report on Governor Palin's address to the Faith Conference in Iowa being put out with a DNC imprimatur.

Here's a paragraph-the rest is AT THIS LINK

"In Iowa, Sarah Palin compared the federal debt she says shackles Americans to slavery.
The government, like a slick marketer, seductively offers “free” services, said Palin, a conservative provocateur and former vice presidential candidate who makes occasional, high-profile trips to politically-important Iowa.
“Our free stuff today is being paid for by taking money from our children and borrowing from China,” she said at the Iowa Faith & Freedom Coalition’s fall fundraiser at the State Fairgrounds Saturday night. “When that money comes due – and this isn’t racist, but it’ll be like slavery when that note is due. We are going to beholden to the foreign master.”
Jacobs headlines the article

"In Iowa, Sarah Palin compares federal debt to slavery"

which could give the implication of Palin tying Black servitude to something less horrific. Palin made it clear the "slavery" was debt slavery, but the headline is the eye grabber and reinforces the leftists idiocy that Palin is some how "racist" (even though married to an Native American").

Jacobs tossed  "provocateur," advised Plain attracted only  750 people, half of her appearance at a Republican dinner in 2010! without advising of the context of course, and found the obligatory negative person regarding a possible 2016 run for Palin "“I think people are looking for somebody with more substance and a longer resume,”
